Chapter 2: Property

The Popp Martin Student Union is not responsible for lost, found, or damaged articles left in or around the facility. Any property left in the Popp Martin Student Union that has not been claimed within forty-eight (48) hours following an event will be considered abandoned by the user or its exhibitors. The Student union may take possession of it and treat it as its own or dispose of such property without liability. Any cost associated in disposing of the abandoned property will be the responsibility of the user.  Items left in the public areas will be kept temporarily at the Information Center on the first floor of the Student Union. Items are collected weekly by Campus Police and Public Safety at which point users should contact that department to retrieve their items.

Chalking is not permitted on the brick patio, building, or plaza of the Popp Martin Student Union. See the Student Organization Handbook for the full chalking policy. Groups are subject to any cleaning fees associated with the removal of unauthorized chalking and a referral to the Office of Student Conduct.
