Chapter 7: Violations

7.1. All users of the Popp Martin Student Union must agree to comply with the general operating rules that have been set to facilitate the proper operations of the facility. Failure to comply may result in action by the Student Union Advisory Board or Director to deny privileges to any individual or group. Failure to comply with policies may result in summoning UNC Charlotte Police and prosecution in accordance with the law. Any damage to the facility due to the result of patron negligence or misconduct will be the responsibility of the patron to pay any associated fees or costs. Students can be referred to Student Conduct for violations of the Code of Student Responsibility for activity within and around the Popp Martin Student Union. The Student Union reserves the right to take necessary and appropriate action to protect the safety and well-being of the patrons who are using or visiting the facility.
